The device design not only meets the requirements of extracting krypton xenon from liquid oxygen raw materials of No. 7 and no. 8 air separation units of Baosteel, but also reserves certain processing capacity and has a large load adjustment range, which can produce high-purity xenon and high-purity krypton gas products with purity up to 6N for Baowu Clean Energy.

Rare gases such as neon, helium, argon, krypton and xenon exist in the air, among which krypton and xenon have the least volume content, which are 1.14 PPM and 0.086 PPM respectively .Neon, krypton and xenon in rare gases can only be extracted from the air by air separation device without other sources .Due to the characteristics of noble gases, they are widely used in national economy, national defense construction, scientific research and people's daily life. For example, krypton gas is mainly used in the electronics industry, the electric light source industry, but also in gas lasers and plasma flow; Xenon is mainly used in semiconductor, electric light source, aerospace, dark matter research and other fields. Its latest use is in the manufacture of electronic chips.

"Baowu Qingneng" owns air separation resources under Baowu Group of China. In the future, the total scale of air separation equipment will reach about 2 million m /h oxygen production. It will build a rare gas (Krypton and xenon) refining device in Baoshan Base to create a new value chain for air separation assets, which is of great strategic significance and good economic value.
